After 30+ years as a defense contractor providing acquisition management, systems and software engineering support to the defense and intelligence communities in the Washington, DC area, my husband and I decided to move to Charlottesville. My husband was a UVA grad and I had previously worked on government contracts in the Charlottesville area, so we knew Charlottesville was where we wanted to live. Jamie was my realtor and he, Brad, and Nick helped us find and purchase the home we have today. Once settled in Charlottesville I started working for Jamie White Real Estate. I enjoy applying my management skills to real estate transactions and working with an outstanding real estate team.
What is your idea of a perfect day? Coffee with a view, walking along the Rivanna River with my dogs down by Riverview Park, dinner at Maya, and watching the Washington Nationals win their baseball game.
Favorite Local Restaurant? MAYA!
When not working we would find you... Out and about with my husband and 2 dogs OR watching the Washington Nationals play a game.
Favorite Pets? WILLA and JENNY. Willa and Jenny are my 5- and 7-year old Golden Retriever Rescues from Istanbul, Turkey.
Favorite Movie/TV show? Any Washington Nationals Baseball game that is televised
Best BBQ in Virginia? My husband’s brisket
Little known fact about you? I am from Minnesota
What are you most proud of? My smart, beautiful daughter who is a Sustainability expert and so willingly volunteers her time with the Sunrise Movement.
What’s the next thing you are going to cross off your bucket list? A trip to Iceland

Most memorable Charlottesville moment? Finding out our best friends were moving to Charlottesville too!
