Duner’s Restaurant has been a beloved staple in Ivy, Virginia, since 1983. It all started when Duner and Alice Tor purchased a small motel property so Duner could chase his dream of opening a restaurant. From day one, high-quality food and warm hospitality set Duner’s apart.
Foxfield horse races are located a few minutes north of Ivy. The spring and fall races are a classic Charlottesville area tradition, bringing students and town members together in celebration.
Foxfield has hosted nationally recognized steeplechase races in central Virginia for more than forty years on land rich in equestrian history. Originally an airport and later a riding school run by Grover Vandevender, the property was purchased in 1977 by Mariann de Tejeda, who built the racecourse.
