Discover Rose Hill: Near Downtown Charlottesville
The Rose Hill neighborhood is located just northeast of the Downtown Mall. The community is mostly residential, with small to medium sized dwellings being the primary housing type. One of the biggest attractions of Rose Hill is Washington Park, located at the western edge of the neighborhood. The community also features quick access to the Route 250 Bypass and the city’s Downtown area. Due to the community’s location and short commutes to Charlottesville’s most prominent features, the Rose Hill neighborhood is a prime location for those who prefer a residential area that is close to urban life.

Shenandoah Joe Coffee Roasters was established as a small batch coffee roaster in 1993 in Charlottesville, Virginia. They currently offer over 25 varieties of specialty/boutique/gourmet coffee using only the finest Arabica coffee from all over the world.
Washington Park is located at the northwestern corner of the Rose Hill neighborhood. The park is one of the most popular in Charlottesville, featuring a lighted outdoor pool, playground, baseball diamond, and basketball court.
Washington Park sits on land deeded to the City in 1926 by Paul Goodloe McIntire to be used as a public park and playground. The park contains only 9.25 acres but remains one of the most heavily used parks.
The Three Notch’d Brewing Company is built ground-up with its roots here in Charlottesville. The company makes a variety of craft beers and offers tours throughout its brewery.
